i also heart CA

more photos from my USA travels. this time Costa Mesa in Orange County. blazing sun, mahi mahi fish tacos, margaritas, and the ANTI MALL… pretty painful looking at these and then back at the cold drizzle outside my window here in London.

i heart ny

a few photos from my recent whirlwind trip to New York, one of my most treasured places on earth. ┬áthe weather was gloriously sunny, and many wonderful things were packed into my short time there. highlights definitely including octopus at SUPPER, steak at RAOUL’S, ice skating in central park and concerts at Carnegie Hall. YES. can’t wait to go back SOON.

sequin season

as party season begins, i am lusting after sequins. next diy please.

bit of long leather for this unpredictable weather

leather jacket Whistles, diy jeans, boots H&M, scarf vintage

happy belated thanksgiving! Spotted this in a little bakery in orange county the day before thanksgiving – a turkey made from profiteroles. I would have bought it had it not been for my impending 9 hour flight home that evening. Even though I was back in London for thanksgiving we still celebrated with turkey meatballs and yams roasted with marshmallows in Hackney. So good. More pics and news from my American travels to follow.

diy Philip Lim diy

i diy-ed this bag a while ago but haven’t used it much. so i thought i’d try again with this inspo in mind…

1. i removed the straps.

2. attached velcro strips.

3. cut a leather rectangle in contrasting colour.

4. attached leather handle. et voila!
